masterpost for mass effect 3 mods because i need to store them some place safe and this is basically the only place i can tag them and i'm sure it won't get deleted.

◆ high resolution textures and gameplay optimization

they all work with texmod. if you don't know how to use texmod, please go here. the texmod.bat is just a work-around to resolve the issue going on about how to make texmod work with origin, since it's a little bit tricky and i'm sure you don't want to repeat the manual slip 'n' slide thing. beware! loading too many textures at once will inevitably cause CTD or you computer to freeze, so respect your own specs and see if you can find a compromise.

- downsampling (beefy as dongers)
- enable ambient occlusion (Nvidia only)
- next-gen cinematic filter (i use this one, but if you feel like trying something 'lighter' you can always try out sweetfx)

◆ alternative endings

- Mass Effect Happy Ending Mod (very well done and changes the ending just enough to not make you feel frustrated. also bonus li interaction moment.)
- kaidanite extended breath scene (exclusively for kaidan romancers)
- thaneMOD (among the other amazicredible things it does to your gameplay? it includes thane for all the game and it's compatible with the mehem ending i've linked above!)
- johnP's alternate MEHEM (a slight variation that keeps the three choices and, to survive, you still need a high EMS rate.)
- citadel epilogue mod (puts the citadel dlc in play only after the ending, allowing you to play it through as if you are partying hard after destroying the reapers.)
- extended final anderson's speech (it restores the cutout dialogue from the game itself, meaning that the voice actor is always the same and the whole content is 100% true, so you can have a longer speech with anderson.)

◆ individual player mods

i really, really do want to make an entire masterpost of the mods going around the ME3's universe, but i'm just going to list the creators and see what's up with it. if you want individual files that i use for my shepard, please take a peek here, because it's more or less what i still use for her.

- GPG's femshep mods collective (extensive and really, really cute, it also has some nice mesh replacement dresses like miranda's catsuit.)

as of today (8/11/2014), GPG has released an announcement that states that the new rev's ME3Explorer doesn't allow her mods to load correctly; she has released a mod fix file.

- ME3Explorer (comprehensive of just about everything you need to replace and/or install mods. needed to apply hair changes, mesh changes and the alike.)
- gibbed save editor for ME3 (pick the last saveedit on the list. needed to change the texture parameters.)
- texmod (needed to change the textures in-game.)
- wench's coalesced editor (WARNING: do not use the coalesced editor if you are planning on playing in multiplayer. ea detects modded coalesced.inis files and will ban you. i advise you to make a safe copy of your non-modded coalesced file and use it when you need to play co-op. wench's official site (sometimes i appears to be down, reason why i provided a nexus download.)
